Dune Glow by jamesholephoto Dune Glow by jamesholephoto
A warm sunrise high up on top of the sand dunes looking towards Amble and Coquet Island.

The last time I was up there [link] it was blowing a gale but I knew this would be a great location for a sunrise, i wasn't let down either!

The blocks on the beach are tank traps put there in 1940s when there was worry that Alnmouth would be used as a landing point in the war.

I love the soft colors and slight movement of the grass and waves. A relaxing atmosphere, and the colors of the sunset are great as well.
