Bamburgh Castle by jamesholephoto Bamburgh Castle by jamesholephoto
Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland
Taken yesterday evening, fairly rough seas but a nice sunset. I really liked the swirling water in the rockpool.

2 x ND filters + ND Grad. Tweaked in Lightroom.

What was your exposure here? Loving the motion captured in the water. The colour of the water also is amazing :D

I was a 10 second exposure, just enough to catch the movement of the sea :)

Oh wow, great colours. Maybe a bit too much sharpness for my taste though.

What length of exposure did you use here James ?

Thanks Gordon, this was a ten second exposure, just enough to capture the swirling without it going all misty :D

Ooops forgot to fav it last night :)

Thanks James, i love long exposure water shots, it's not easy just getting the swirl or the trails in the water right either

Well done :)

Cheers Gordon, i really like long exposure shots too although i like to get pretty close to the sea which usually results in me getting a good soaking! :D

Me too, i seem to spend ages getting set up, then have to wipe the spray off the lens and filters and hope for the best :giggle:
