River Aln near Alnmouth, Northumberland

Its been a while since i've submitted anything, this was taken around a month ago, i've been waiting for the sun to set inline with the river for a while and this was probably the best shot i've taken so far, well, until the sun moves back there!

Beautiful shot, James. Fantastic river and great sun. Foreground has some lovely light - but maybe just a tad messy? Well we can't have everything! Glad to see you are still taking photos!

Thanks Malcolm, I totally agree with you about the foreground, I searched high and low for a better composition, there was none to be had, I've cropped quite a lot of the bottom off already. I thought I should upload it even though it isn't ideal, it gives me a foundation shot to go and improve on! Hope your well!
